God spoke to Moses through the bush. God told him to take his shoes off.
The Israelites wandered the desert for 40 years waiting to enter the promised land. They would have entered sooner but due to unbelief that God would take care of them, God made them wander a long time. Funny, their clothes nor their shoes ever wore out during all that time.
The last plague, the death angel took the Pharoahs firstborn son and the Pharoah was so disgusted with the whole 10 plague ordeal that he finally told them to leave. Then, once they left, he realized how much he needed them and went to take them back to Egypt.

it was God who came in the form of a burning bush. Moses only saw God's back, because nobody who is still alive can see God face-to-face. Moses would of died right then and there if he saw God's face. Moses asked God what his name is, because Moses knew that the Israelites(Not the Hebrews) would ask him what God's name is. Which God revealed his name to Moses and everyone knows it as, Yahweh. God gave Mose the ten commandments and told him what to do.
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40+ years because of their constant rebellion towards God.
The last plague made Pharaoh make the deicison to let the Israelites go. that is the death of the first born son, Pharaoh's son died as the result of that.

2. When they left Egypt, hebrews crossed the red sea by walking, God opened the red sea and they passed through, they made a golden idol and disobeyed God's commandment of not having idols, so they were supposed to be only for 40 days in the desert but they ended being there for 40 years, Moses died before they entered the promised land and Joshua leaded them there.

God spoke to moses from the bush that was burning, yet not consumed. He told moses to take his shoes off because he was on holy ground. He then told moses to go to pharaoh and tell him to let Gods people go. Pharaoh refused and God sent the plagues upon egypt. The final plague was the death of every firstborn son in egypt, this is the plague that convinced pharaoh to let the israelites go.
Then israelites then wandered in the desert for 40 years because of their disobedience to God. When moses died , Joshua took over the leadership of the israelites and led them into the land of canaan. moses was not allowed to enter the promised land (canaan) because of his disobedience to God

Kudos to "Been there done that" but if you seek more in depth answers you can find them in Exodus (second book of the bible). I recommend the New Living Translation as it is easier to read.
