NO - Diet Coke does have calories - just not a significant amount.

An eight-ounce serving or Diet Coke contains less than one calorie.

Aspartame, caramel color and citric acid are all ingredients of Diet Coke.

Diet Coke contains 0.1 grams of sugar (carbohydrates), which is derived from the caramel color.

Diet Coke served in cans and bottles in the U.S. is sweetened with aspartame, while the fountain dispensed product is sweetened with a blend of aspartame and saccharin.

Components of each of these contribute to the caloric content of Diet Coke.

Why does the label state that Diet Coke contains zero calories???

Because the amount of calories is under five, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires that the amount of calories be rounded to zero on the Nutrition Facts panel.

It does have 0 skill, even yet it would desire to now not have 0.0 skill, it is somewhat diferent, actual conversing. I advise it quite is diferent to declare that some component has 0 skill from affirming that it has absolute-0 skill. yet besides, 0 skill *is* pratically now not some thing, so which you do now not would desire to desire to be bothered approximately skill as quickly as you drink a weight-relief plan coke. even yet it quite is advised to be bothered in regards to the sodium.

I was told by a Dietitian that it's very close to zero, but you'd have to drink hundreds of gallons to get 1 calorie worth.
