See When I tell him I love him, He says it back. But he never says unless I say it first so is there any way to find out if he really loves me or does he just say he does. The reason I want to know is b/c its almost been a month since we started dating!

Some people don't have the habit of expressing their feelings so may be he loves and doesnt say it.In my opinion, when u r in love u dont need to say it again and again.U can easily make out, a person in love will go an extra mile to help you when u need him,will care for u more than a normal friend and will understand u before u tell him.So next time see his feelings towards you and not look for flattering words.

I personally think a month is a little too soon to know if you love a person or not. Just give him sometime, guys don't always show or talk about their feelings like women. My boyfriend never said he loved me until we were dating for 6 months and then he made it really special. He still doesn't say it alot but you have to look at all the little things he does for you too.

If it's only been a month, I wouldn't worry about it so much. The true feelings of love sometimes take a little longer to develop. If you have to say it 3 or 4 months from now, maybe you should talk to him about it. But for right now, I wouldn't worry.

a month is really fast to be in love, esp for a guy. but I think he prolly does really like you but unless he's looking into your eyes and saying it b4 you say it he's prolly just saying it to make you happy for now, you can't blame him though he doesnt want to lose you so he's gonna say it without meaning it until he really feels that way. Love isn't something one can force to happen. Usually it has to happen in its own time. I think a month isn't really long enough for most people to fall in love. Give him some time and don't force the issue. You'll know when he's really in love with you.

He doesn't say it first because he don't. He says if after you do to spare your feelings. How old are you 13, 14 ?

Thats kinda soon to be telling each other but he may feel a lil nervous or something so he waits for you to say it. How does he treat you? does he put his friends before you? spend alot of time with you?

Is he thoughtful, without you reminding him?
Does he care about what you say?
Does he plan dates on his own?
Is he romantic?
Does he ask you how you are doing?
Does he treat you like a princess?
If you have to ask us.....I think you already know the answer. Trust your gut. If you have to always say "I love you" first.....it isn't on his mind.

only a month. you have to give him more time.you cant love some one that fast.and hes probably saying it back because he feels obligated.don't scare him away.
