I wouldn't say hard but less empathetic. We dehumanize and denigrated African American men so much in society. That the same venom whites spew out daily, have spilled over in our community. Even the younger kids, constantly hearing, "The world is against them, and they're no good black men, or they're just like their farther." Now, African American women are claiming, to be "betrayed" because Black men are not living up to their end of the bargain. Especially for the upward mobility in the African American community. It's been a misconception, about these young men, who are portrayed as monsters. They're human too. Like the saying goes "Hurt people, Hurt people." Institutional racism have played a pivotal role in exacerbating the male and female relationship.And the bulk of it, flourished in the 60's, 70's and 80's. During that time, unemployment rate and incarceration rate grew, causing a large group farther-less kids. What we're dealing with is the trickle down effect. Plus, machismo and the patriarchy culture, have condition young boys, not to express their feelings. Mostly likely; they're suffering from some emotional or sexual damage. It's seemed to be taboo for people in the African American community to seek counseling or psychiatric attention.

Because there are so few Good black men. The reason there are so few good black men is because black women do not hold them responsible and they allow them to be cheaters, drug users, welfare recipients, etc., with no consequences A black man can get out of jail and a black woman will take him right back as though that didn't mean a thing. Once black women band together and cut off the sex they're giving to bad black men, the number of good black men will increase. As long as you continue to give them free passes and make excuses for them, that will not happen.

Well, there are fewer black men than black women so there is not much motivation for a black man to stay in a monogamous relationship. Also, 10% of black men marry outside their race. There are more black men of college age in prison than in college. The mortality rate for black men is high. Eating habits cause early deaths. So, my conclusion is that it's a game of numbers.

They should not be. I mean they stand out in a crowd of white guys. I mean I'm white and in a crowd, I'm like camouflage. Now put a black guy in there...Geez. maybe you should get glasses or have that Lazic process done. Good luck.

Good man in all races are hard to find this days. Where are they?? If you see one or have one don't let it go. And if there are good men out there they are with a bad woman, and good woman are with bad men. I don't understand that.

You know what I think? I think some black men have been built up so much that so many women want them. Some, not all, think they can have the pick of the litter. I'm a white girl, and I know alot of white girls think of black guys as "untouchable" and the men LOVE that.
