In my opinion, there is no definite age. Its all about the teens maturity and what the parent(s) are okay (or willing to compromise) with.

I don't know what age you are, but I have a 15 year old daughter and I want her to wait until she is at least 18 years old. The reason for this is I figure she is too young to go though the trials and tribulation of a relationship. All her attention should be focused on finishing school with no distractions. Once young ladies get a boyfriend other things are soon to follow. Nine times out of ten he is gonna want sex and that's something else she doesn't need. I just think for a young lady she can do without all the extra pressures of a relationship. So can you.I mean relationships can turn a grown-up , upside down and inside out why put extra strain on yourself when your promised to have all that from the day you were born.

I would have to say about 17 or 18 years of age, once you have some sort of an idea on who you are, what you want in a partner, and are somewhat responsible for your actions.

I started dating at like 15. It might seem a little young but think you're only young once and you might as well have fun while you have a chance because once you move out fun time's over.
