It's not that i just want a boyfriend for the hell of it, i don't even have many guy friends. Homecoming is coming up and i'm going alone...again. I don't mind going alone, but it's getting closer and I just think that it would be nice for once to know that a guy is interested in me and would like to spend time with me. How do I find this guy?

You are only 16, there is no reason that you should be searching for a boyfriend. One day you will meet the guy that you will fall in love with, marry and spend the rest of your life with. Until then you just need to be patient, there is no reason to search somewhere to find him. You will find him when the time is right. Not to mention the fact that homecoming and school dances are nothing but a bunch of people that dance, who cares about that? When you are older are you going to tell everyone who you went to the homecoming in 2006? I doubt it. Most people that are together won't even be together by the end of the school year, let alone in a few years.

i'm 16 also and that i don't have a boyfriend. I truly have not in any respect truly dated a guy earlier. So no, you aren't any further on my own. i do not date for the straightforward actuality of that i don't have time. I play activities and am in various college activities and don't have time to juggle a boyfriend with my agenda. particular i flirt with boys forever and they flirt again even with the indisputable fact that it would not recommend some thing. And if you're nervous about promenade, get a collection of ladies which have your again and bypass as a collection as a again up plan. Flirt with adult males and probably one will ask you to promenade. no longer some thing is inaccurate with you that's in simple terms the adult males. some adult males are truly stupid and some adult males truly have a mind the position their head is placed. And with a bit of luck you'll detect a guy with no longer in elementary words a head yet a mind as well! in case you view your self as ugly then particularly quickly you'll commence wondering anybody else sees you as ugly and your self-esteem will be lengthy gone. So once you upward push up in the morning, seem in the reflect and %. out one good challenge about your self each and every and well-known. you'll sense extra perfect and probably what you imagine is particularly or stands proud about you, adult males will too! So %. your head up and get out into the courting international. yet do not sweat it because the guy you meet now will probable no longer be the guy you eventually end up marrying. So be sensible and keep smiling! good luck!!!!!

I never went to homecoming because of the same reason. I did however get the courage to call up a boy and get turned down flat. It hurt like hell, especially cause he said he wasn't going. Yeah right, he just didn't want to go w/ me. I never went. All you can do if you really want to go w/ a boy is grow some balls and ask a nice boy you think you'de have fun w/. I did and got turned down but it didn't kill me. Good luck!

You need to start making friends with guys. This is how you will meet most of your boyfriends in the future. Either friendships blossom or a guy friend of on of your friends. Just be open and put your self out there and meet some new people.

At 16, you really shouldn't be consumed with finding a boy who will more than likely ruin a chunk of your life. If you want one, you should make the first moves and you should try to FIND HIM. Don't wait around for him to come to you because things don't work that way.

Don't rush it sweetie. I know that it looks like fun to date, but alot of times, it can be complicated. Don't get me wrong, it can be fun but only when you're ready for it and it doesn't sound like you are completely ready right now. Just ease up a bit and wait for that right guy to come along.
