Relax sweetie! It's totally a lot easier than having sutures removed! There should not be any pain involved if you have a good nurse or Dr-whoever gets the privilege!Good luck!!

Having staples removed is a walk in the park! After my husband had gallbladder surgery, the nurse was going to take out his staples and in spite of telling him it wouldn't hurt, he was hanging on to the bedrails for dear life. He asked her to tell him when she was going to take them out. She and I had to laugh because she'd already removed 14 of them and he hadn't even felt it.

Do NOT worry I had 25 of them taken out three weeks ago and it was as easy as pie better then stitches.

There is a clever little tool that takes them out by unbending them. It's almost painless (one of mine was stuck in a blood clot).

relaxed, if you were conscious when they put them in and lived threw it then this will be a walk in the park..
