i just want to know how many troops will we have to move around to fight strategically against the iranian military? i know iran has way more arms ( troops, civilian and militarily than we do but the training is less in quality ) but i want to know also how bad that war would be when we do go?

First of all, where do you get your info that Iran has more arms etc.? For your information they are more like a bug we can step on if need be but we are above that. War, though it is chaos, does have meaning behind it. Both sides have agendas and wish to work things out in peaceful manors when possible. If, however one side thinks the other is unreasonable they take on an air of if we cannot have our way the easy way we want it the hard way. America will not nuke them right away, therefore, casualties could be high on both sides. Iran is an Islamic fundamentalist/extremist country so they could bring the war to our shores when we least expect it.
As far as troop levels go we are in hurting status. We are straining just to cover the Bush war in Iraq. Afghanistan is on hold in the mean time so I don't think we will be waging a war there anytime soon. If Iran attacks, then we shall retaliate with the same flying hardware we have in theater at this time.

The military is already stretched to tight in the fiasco of Iraq and all the people stupid enough to join any military controlled by the idiot currently sitting in the White House have already enlisted. No one left to wage another stupid war in Iran unless they start a draft and then the Shi'ite will really hit the fan.

i think it be a air war with the troops of USA UK Australia etc who are in Iraq been supported by other countries possibly NATO

unfortunately we dont have enought troops in Iraq right now to keep it safe... not to mention Iran... our resources are strained as it is, only if Bush is stupid (insert own joke here ha) will he go to war with someone else before we finish what we started in Iraq and Afghanistan.
God help us if he is as stupid as I think he is.

We can't take ANY - we would, of course, institute the draft - which, by the way, will more than likely happen before Bush gets out of office.
