I not only agree, but I can personally attest to this truth.
I used to be a very fit,lean, and muscular person. I had a 6 pack. I was very confident in myself and it was easy to get dates and command respect from work and people I encountered on a daily basis. Over the past year or so, I gained alot of weight-like 80 lbs! I have definitely noticed that people treat me so much differently since I gained the weight. I don't get the positive attention I once had, and my confidence and energy level has definitely gone down as a result of my weight gain. People say looks don't matter, but I can tell you that they sure do! Personality and character is more important but without initial attraction, a person will judge you based on appearance. Fat is out and thin is in. It will always be that way. Time to hit the gym! See ya!

Yup I understand what you mean I was once over weight gained 50 pounds and that stunk. No body noticed me, well I got sick of it and lost it all got my body back to the coca cola bottle and ooooweee I'm happy and not only did I do it for my looks but most important for my health that's what I'm more concerned about fat not healthy. Hit that gym and stay fit.

You guys are all idiots.
Is there not a fat person who when they get skinny, do not change their whole attitude/selfconfidence? If your down on yourself, other people see that as weakness and not being a "go-getter". Of course you are gonna get noticed more when your head is held high and you are a happier human being! I wasnt as pretty in the past, and i hung my head low everywhere i went. i started exercising and wearing makeup and changing myself, and i felt like soo much happier and capable. I see all these rich people around me who are overweight or just kinda chubby and they are all confident and happy with themselves, and have a positive vibe about them. I see a whole hell of alot more skinny poor people every where I go.
people who says its weight related must not understand its all about attitude and confidence!

If that was true, then why are there so many fat people? the fat to thin ratio is greater now then it was 50 years ago. In fact, that size 7 that thin girls are so proud of wearing now is equal to a size 12 back in the 50's. You little fatties.

let me tell u something
i m not fat
but fat people could get down with the skinny people
like my man biggy and big pun and they were huge
u need to have a nice style to yourself and confidence
once u have that u can do anything

biggie and big pun made the term fat look sexy
they made fat people much more attracting
but it all about confidence and style

alot of fat people get depress and stuff
use ur looks for ur advantage thru ur style

It's definitely true. I used to weigh 425 pounds and lost 225 of that. I was amazed how nice everyone was to me, how friendly and sweet everyone was to me after that. I also went from making $25,000 a year to about $55,000 within 5 years.
