They don't believe Jesus is the Son of God.

Now, I would agree with them that Jesus is not the Son of Allah.

What they don't understand is that God is not Allah.

"God" is not the english translation of "Allah". Allah is the supreme deity of Islam, whereas Christians and Jews recognize that God is the supreme being.

The two belief systems are mutually exclusive and cannot be reconciled at their many conflicting intersections.

They do not believe in 90% of what Christianity has been turned into. They do believe in Jesus and that Jesus is the "pure" prophet, the only man to remain pure during his time on earth. The do believe that God delivered the Gospels (second of the three holy books) through Jesus but that the Gospel was perverted by the Roman empire. They do believe Jesus did not die on the cross but was taken up by God and will return during the Golden Age to teach the world how to live within God's laws and how to flourish without destroying the earth. They also believe that everyone is accountable for their actions while they are here and that all will have to account for those actions in the end. All people have a choice and nobody can make that choice for you.

First, in Arabic the word used for Jesus or Mohammad is Messenger or Rasool or Nabi, the founder of good. Prophet means someone who prophecies. The messengers of God have done prophecies, but that is not their prime purpose.

No, we do not agree on a lot of things with our Christian brethren beginning with the divinity of Christ that they believe in. We do not believe our Messenger or Prophet Mohammad was a false prophet as they claim. There are many things on which Muslims and christians differ, but compared to an atheist, we have a lot more common with each other than different

We Muslims do not agree with Christians on:

1. We do not agree that Jesus (peace be upon him) was God, or Son of God (we believe he was the Messenger of God)
2. We do not agree on Trinity, we do not think Holy Spirit is God. (We believe in One God, Holy Spirit refers to Angel Gabriel in Islam)
3. We do not agree on Bible and it's teachings (We believe it had been corrupted)
4. We do not agree St.Paul saw God (We believe he has been cheated by Satan into believing that he saw God. Because his letters corrupted the Bible)

On what we agree:

1. We agree that Jesus is the Christ
2. We agree that Jesus was born miraculously, and was given special powers by God to heal the sick
3. We agree that Jesus' mother Mary was a chaste woman (virgin).
4. We agree that Jesus will come down - Second Coming

Muslims believe in all the prophets that were sent by Allah. However, they do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. Their belief is that Allah is one and there's no one who can take his place. Jesus, Moses and Muhammad didnt believe that Jesus was the son of Allah either. Allah sent all his messenger one by one with the same message...it was misconstrued by people giving rise to so many diffrerent religions.

I m a muslim, we believe that jesus is a prophet and he was exagerated as to be a son of god.we believe that he was not at all crucified. in return a jew was crucified whose face resembled jesus and jews were made to believe him as jesus through Allah's wish and will.Holy spirit is an angel whose job is to communicate between messengers of Allah and Allah.rest by and large we beleive the same. but jews and christians have changed and altered their scriptures.just to prove jesus as son of God.

We don't believe he was the son of god, nor do we believe he died on the cross.

We do believe he was a prophet, blessed by god, and we also believe in his virgin birth.

Just the tip of the iceberg tho, could write an essay on the topic :P

EDIT: Judging from your previous question tho, we believe that men have corrupted his teachings by adding to/taking away from it as they saw fit.

well I am a muslim. Muslims like me do not belive that Jesus is Gods son... he is a prophet, only a prophet & Jesus was not really crossified, no Allah (God) protected his messenger. & took him to the skies, & he made one of the look like Jesus so they crossified him instead of Jesus. Allah (god) has no sons no wives no nothing, he is the one & the only (subhanahu wa taala)
