I have known my gf for about a year & 4 months now & we started going out about 2.5weeks ago. I am 18 & she is 16 i have no reason not 2 trust her but it seems like wenever she is out having fun then i tend 2 think that she is doing sumtin dat would upset me. we talk all the time. (i.e before school, recess, lunch, after school, and from about 9 till 12 each night. IDK why i dont trust her its just whenever i''m not talking 2 her i start 2 get these thoughts dat she is doing something wrong. i love her 2 death & we are very similar in the way we think & we can practically finish each others sentences. i dont tink dat it helps when i ask her something & it doesnt even have 2 b something that i would get upset about she'll say sumtin like "o it's nutting or o never mind" she only answers me after i ask her a couple of times. i wanna b able 2 trust her but i keep thinking bout her doing sumtin bad & i have dreams & about her cheating on me with her "brother" at skoo

well it just seems that u are insecure about yourself, thats why u constantly think that she might be cheating on u or doing something bad.... But remember..... she CHOSE to go out w/ you.. if she did not like you, or want 2 b with you she wouldn't have gone out w/ u.. i just think that u are over reacting a bit, dont think about it so much, let her have fun w/ her friends, and dont give her a reason to leave you.. Try being more confident about yourself and the relationship. You may want 2 talk 2 her about this, she might b feeling the same way about u . Maybe that's why she keeps saying "oh never mind" bc she hasnt been able to trust u that much either yet.

She's 16. You have no real reason to trust her, quite frankly...

What you are feeling is honesty with yourself, you just dont sit well with the potential outcome. Protect your feelings, but let her know how you feel.

Trust must be earned, much like respect and you should never settle for less.

maybe she isnt the one for you because if she was you would be able to trust her without any questions. it would like come natural because you would want to spend the rest of your life with her.
