it doesn't matter who it it, boy or girl. i have this problem. i always get really close to my friends and try anything to accidentally on purpose brush past them or put my hand somewhere on purpose cos i get such a thrill out of it. one of my guy friends is so cool and he lets my touch his ****! He must love it cos he never says it's a problem.Yes i admit I get deprived at times and am a little dirty minded sometimes but i can't be the only person who does this. Does anyone else find themselves doing the same thing. by the way I'm 17....is this normal???? LOL

there are so many things that different people find arousing thatb defining normality can be difficult.

Frottage is the name for the act which you find so arousing. it is classed as gaining sexual gratification by rubbing yourself against another whilst fully clothed.

It is not that uncommon.

However as with all sexual acts then unless it is consenual(i.e. both parties agree) then it is technically a sexual assault. Whilst you consider what you are doing as fairly non-invasive, some people may be badly affected by being "felt up".

Perhaps you should concentrate your attentions on your guy friend who lets you do it. It would be better if you discussed it with him first, though I realise that it might be difficult. this suggestion is for your safety under the eyes of the law.

Personally I have nothing against frottage and have done it before with my wife, basically any cuddle with a loved one is technically frottage and what exactly is dancing if not a form of frottage!

I'd say to stop that because I would be completely creeped out if I had a friend who did that all the time. Most people like to have their own personal space, and when that it violated... they feel really uncomfortable, akward, and may start to think that you are a pervert or something.

If you can sense that someone IS comfortable with it.. and it's a flirty, explorative type thing.. then I guess that is natural... just don't brush by someone at the store or at school because you don't want any sexual harrassment charges against you.

I've never actually heard of this before. It makes me wonder why you developed this problem, maybe when you were really small you didn't have a lot of closeness in your family, perhaps you were in some ways deprived of your father's or mother's attention. I don't think it's a normal thing.

just because not all of us experience this, does not mean it's not "normal" (wtf is "normal" anyways??).

im sure there are other people who experience this. just make sure you go about it in a healthy way (ie: do not go on the subway and try to rub up against people on accident.. they will notice, and get you arrested).

also, you may want to seek professional help, for the plain and simple fact of figuring out why you seek this thrill of touching others. perhaps something in your childhood: molestation, or just simply lack of physical sensations from others.

dont worry, and f*** everyone who is trying to make you feel bad. theres nothing wrong with you.

After reading your question several times, I feel as though you have a problem and are in serious need of counseling. I hope you get it, good to you.

er as long as the other person is consenting, i dont think anyone has the right to cast the first stone when it comes to sexuality, only if the other person consents, saying that no i dont get turned on, actually i really need my space and cant stand it when people stand to close or lean on me!

If I say "No, it's not normal" are you going to go cry in a corner and cut yourself? Cause I don't want that to happen!

It's not that unusual.....I think it's called 'frottage'. No problem so long as you're careful not to upset anyone!
