You guys, I just dont understand why I cannot get a bf. Most guys that actually do like me, always let me know by getting their friends to ask me. When I go to different place males always stare at me, but they act as if Ithey are actually scared to communicate. I am typically a shy person, especially around guys, but I dont see how this would have nething to do with. I am have also made the decision to remain abstinate until marriage, however, I dont go out there bragging and trying to force others to choose the same kind of life style that I am living. It makes me feel terrible, when people always assume that I have a bf, but I dont. Could someone please give me some detailed information on what I am doing wrong?

I'm proud of you for your decision to remain abstinate until marriage.
I'm not sure how old you are, but this is what I'd tell someone who is out of school.
I think you need to get involved with things so you can meet people in a different setting. Try joining a club, or taking a fun class (martial arts? dance lessons?) where you'll be "forced" to talk to people, but doing so will feel normal. Volunteer, so you'll be out mixing with lots of different people. Relax. When you least expect it, you'll meet someone.... but meanwhile, go live an exciting, interesting life.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, but your shyness probably does get in the way. I do recognize it, because I was like that when I was younger. I'll tell you a trick that helped me out a lot back then. I would pretend that guys were girls and would react to them as if they were girlfriends of mine. That way you won't have to worry what to say, how to stand, what to do, because you'll be ultra relaxed, as if you were sitting there chatting to another girl! Sounds weird, but it really worked. Good luck.
