s s ,yes, several times he said ye are children of God,paul said we are adopted, they toned the truth down because the ones listening could not imbibe the stronger truth, GOD DWELLS WITHIN YOU AS YOU.

Jesus didn't say it, He was quoting Ps 82:6
Where Jehovah called human judges gods.
(Not Gods)
At Ps 82, Jehovah is calling human judges mighty ones (another definition of god)
Since Jesus is not God Almighty (Ps 83) and only a might god (Isa 9:6) and John 1:1 "Word was a god" he didn't say it, just repeated it.

Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For Yahweh knows that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing righteousness and evil.
I believe that was the serpent that said that.

Why didn't you show us a bible verse quoting where Jesus said this? You shouldn't make a statement like that without having the proof to back it up.

The term "god" is broad but I understand, if we are created in an image of a creator, we are also creators, God never had a form, but a role.
