When I need comfort food I make a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese, fry it so it's a little crispy, then crush up Ruffles into it. I know...it sounds gross but it's yummy & reminds me of being a kid.

When I was young my mom used to make me pineapple pancakes & they are awesome & easy all you do is add some crushed pineapple to you favorite pancake mix. I always use bisquick or jiffy just because it's cheaper, however now they have those pancake mixes that you just add water too a bottle & shake there nice too. After you cook them smear with butter real butter is the best of coarse but way fatty & no syrup just butter they're actually a weight watcher recipe my mom later told me.

Pickled Okra Sandwiches:
pickled okra
cream cheese, softened
white bread, trim edges and flatten
fresh parsley, chopped
Take square bread, coat lightly with cream cheese. Roll pickled okra into bread and coat outside of roll with cream cheese and roll in parsley.
Yeah, sounds crazy but is gooooood.

OMFG. I thought my chips (french fries) dipped in frozen yoghurt was weird (try it--it's nice!). But after reading the replies so far... some of this crap sounds worse than dog food!
