no they arent easy at ALL!!... im going through one right now.. and there are times that i really miss him sooo much.. eventhough we keep comunicated throughout the day through txt msgs, phonecalls, IM's I miss his touch, kisses, smile, little things that r ussualy taken forgranted in a regular relationship become so hard to go with out in a long distance relationship.. Trusting is a major issue too, bc u dont kno wheter your bf/gf is being loyal, since u cant see him/her bc u live far away, but if you aren in love like me and my bf are, u should b fine.. we completly trust ea. other and the distance just makes the love stronger =D

No, it's not easy, but in some cases it can work. I've been dating someone for 2 1/2 years long distance. Nearly every weekend one of us travels 4 hours to spend the weekend with the other. We keep in touch through instant message, email, and occasionally phone during the week. We are now engaged, so things are going well.

Now, if he lived 8 hours away, I am pretty sure this wouldn't be quite so successful. The fact that we see each other every weekend contributes greatly to our relationship's success.

long distance dating is very difficult..there will be times when you miss your partner terribly and there is nothing you can do. its easier now with cheaper call rates, text messages and even video calls like msn live or yahoo messsenger but nothing can ever take the place of their touch. however, if you think that person is worth the sacrifice, then i say go for it. it builds one of the most important factors in a relationship and that is trust and faith in each other. if your relationship can survive the distance, what more when you are finally physically together.

Easy because you actually date very little and see each other so infrequently- that's pretty easy. There's nothing spontaneous, you can't just go out whenever you feel like it because everything has to be planned in advance. And you spend a lot of time waiting to see them, so you don't really have much of a life. That's easy.

Absolutley not me and my husband dating long distance (before we got married) and it was VERY hard. I was in college at the time surrounded by gorgeous guys! BUT I am living proof that it CAN work. you both have to be commited to making it work.

With the internet, long distant dating allows us to keep in touch without ever losing touch.

It also allows us to share with the other person on the way we think too.

It can be a real pain to keep in touch without the internet.

Nope, not easy. Absolutely not easy. Worth it? Depends on your views. If you're willing to work at it, it could be the best decision!

I cant see how it could be easy. All you have is a voice on the phone or words on a screen. No contact. That's not enough for me.

No, I was in one. It sucks, but now me and her are living together and are happier then ever. We've been dating for 4 years now. It's great, if he or she's the right one.
