Spoon full of sugar. I didn't believe it till I tried it the other day and it worked.

I get hiccups all the time--at least once a day, almost everytime I laugh. Holding my breath works very well for me. For really bad hiccups, take a breath, count to ten, drag in some more air, count to ten again, and then let it out as slow as you can.

Gulping the biggest glass of water you can find is good, too.

I've had the hiccups so much, that these days I can mentally relax my diaphragm without too much effort, but it takes practice to be able to do that.

Any other ways of getting rid of regular hiccups are just said so your friends can laugh at you.

You could try drinking from the opposite side of the glass.

i really dont think there is a way ive tried everything an nothing works its funny u ask i rarely get them but have gotten them twice today i just take a deep breath hold it as long as i can and then take slowe long breaths that sometimes helps or sometimes i pretend to hiccup and they go away weird huh lol good luck

this may sound odd but it works for me....
take a mouth full of water, tip your head back, hold your arms straight up above your head then swallow the water. You look silly for a few seconds but its better than being stuck with the hiccups if it works!

Take a swallow of water and hold your breath ammidiatly after words,holding your nose so no air can exscape,hold it to you can,t hold it anymore{but go as long as you can holding},then let out and they should be gone!Good Luck,hollywood

take 9 or 10 sips of water, one after the other, slowly. and swallow slowly and completely.
