I don't think that's possible. The CD format and the DVD format are very different. For example, the capacity is different: CD's hold about 750-800MB of data, DVD's hold about 4GB of data. Totally different.

You might be able to find a special CD player that can play audio-only from a DVD. But, that wouldn't be a "standard CD player", because it wouldn't be a standard CD.

However, if you have a CD player that can play MP3's, and if you have a DVD player that can play VCD's, then I guess you could just copy your audio and video files to a disc, and that might work. But, it wouldn't work on a "standard CD player" or a "standard DVD player".

Why must it be only one disc? Just make two. :) Discs are cheap.

This isn't possible. You can create a Mixed Mode CD in Nero, which contains Audio and Data, but you can't do Audio and VideoCD together.

Even DVD player would probaby find the Audio side first and ignore the data part. So it rules out Divx too.

You could however put a video clip on the data part to view on a computer.

Some DVD players will play MP3's and Videos.. In this case you could create a standard data CD with a mix of files on.

try letting the audio files directly on the CD and the video file in a folder.
i am not sure, but DVD players recognize folders. the CD player might not work, though

You get a dvdmaker program. and it can capture video & audio.i have SOnic Dvd Maker. it came with my computer. you put it to capture audio then click microphone (assuming thats what you would use) and plug in your camera. it doesnt have to be a video camera you plug in.a video cant play on a cd player though.

You could try NERO or DIVX. alot o new DVD players will play DIVX and it's free to download.

If you know some one with a copy of NERO try and use it or download it from mininova .org you would also need bitlord (www.bitlord.com) or try getting it from limewire.com
