You don't say if your doctor gave you the starter pack to gradually increase your dose. If they didn't, then stop taking the stuff and find another doctor.

Is your doctor a psychiatrist? A psychiatrist is the best doctor to be prescribing antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs.

There are many side effects to Zoloft and they are different for everyone. Most will go away in a week or two. Talk to your doctor it sounds like he/she may need to change your medication. Don't' let people scare you away from antidepressants. If you need them, then you should take them. No one tells people to stop taking their blood pressure medication or medication for diabetes and tell them to deal with it.

Sometimes B vitamins will help with your stomach issues. Ginger is also good. But call your doctor again and see if you need to do something else or get your prescription changed. Does your doctor have you taking your medicine in the morning or at night? The timing may affect your side effects.

Good Luck. Things will get better.

Great Medical Reference site

P.S. Doesn't Sound Like it is doing you Any Good, Get A second opinion. and make sure you tell the new doctor exactly what's going on and in what severity.

Side effects can be life destroying and if you continue despite side effects with certain drugs they can even lead to death.

I took Duramine (Weight loss drug) in the mid 90's only for 3½ Months and One bad side effect I got almost immediately was Heart Palpatations and they didn't stop for 2½ YEARS after I Stopped Taking Them.

No they don't, that's why their called side affects.
As they may happen on the side, and for you doctor to prescribe more drugs to cure the side affects - just seem like MORE SIDE AFFECTS????

In the zoloft commericals, they say it can also cause dry mouth, and sexual side affects.

If you want to improve your "happy" state, and feel better, try starting with a good healty diet of fruits and veggies.

Bananas, Vitamin B and St Johns wart are all NATURAL resources you can take to improve your mental health.

And you know what also?
They have NO side affects.
Good luck.
