as a gift for a friends daughter i ordered a gown for her for homecoming which is on the 6th of oct.....i placed the order yesterday to be air borne expressed and then land delivered by dhl...should have been here by noon est....so i gave them a couple of hours leeway and called at 2:00 (of course i was on hold for a good 5 min)...when i got someone they said it was being mailed regular shipment...hadnt even left the warehouse yet!!!...i asked why when i paid the extra $14.95 for next day and was told "i dont know what to tell you"...i said send it next day today so i'll have it tomorrow...she says i cant its after 2:00!! un-freakin-believable!!!! now i wont get it until monday and i still need to check for alterations....wtf!!! i am so pi$$ed!....so now what?...she wasnt going to help expedite this...is there anything i could have done to get it here quicker?

I think you need to call back and ask - no - demand to speak to a supervisor or shipping manager and explain your problem, maybe even request a refund for the next day shipping. Above anything else, it is important to be calm and polite on the phone because they'll be more apt to work with you and may even waive shipping charges. While you're at it get the tracking number for the package if there should be any further problems. Hope this helps....

Call them back and demand better service! You deserve way better than what you are getting. Remmeber to be as nice as possible for as long as possible - but be firm and speak to someone in charge!
