last several years was in construction based profession. want to change career to medical; have had some medical training (was certified audiologist). am over 30yrs old & single parent responsibilities so then i can't spend all day _for 2 years_ in schoolhouse.

Find an allied health school in your area. I went back to school at 40, and the allied health school I went to had three different classes (Morning, afternoon and evening) each session was four hours, and I finished school in 8 months. (Xray tech) Best of luck to you!!
