Exercise is a must, weight training at least 3 times per week including ab exercises to build muscle and aerobic to burn fat(try alternating the two every other day) but diet is extremely important. Lots of protein sources like chicken breasts, fish(salmon, tuna etc.) and the right carbs such as leafy greens(salads) tomatoes broccoli, cauliflower,no hi carb veggies such as corn, peas etc. Watch out for the amount of sugar in your food as well. Learn to read labels.Try to eat at least 5 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 large ones. With a healthy balance you should start to see results but remember it will take dedication and perseverance. Good luck.( Tae-bo is an excellent complete body workout which tones muscle and burns fat at the same time.Try adding this to your regimen as well)Also drink lots of water as it helps to fill you up as well as flush out fat and toxins.

That "Core system" exercise ball really works. You can do sit ups and other exercises on that without putting so much strain on your neck.

It take a lot of work to get the 6 pack and continuous work to keep them........but boy they sure look good if you have them!

Diet and exercise. And if you think you're gonna look rock hard like a body builder you're wrong. Not only do those guys have good genetics, but they also abuse steroids and dehydrate there bodies for about a week.

There are four things that are necessary to getting a six-pack:
-Diet (eat less fat and sugar and drink more water).
-Cardio (30 minutes of cardio before breakfast every day will do it).
-Normal stomach exercises (at least every other day).
-Stomach vacuums (www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ms-fit5.htm).

If you are consistent... no problem.

most people have six packs, but you cant see them because the fat covers them.

You MUST lose body fat first and foremost. Other than that, work your abs.

Use the exercise ball, lay on your back over it and do crunches as if you were on the floor. Works fast and is easy on the spine.
