i have tried on windows media player but it says no device can be found press f5 for refresh, when i do nothing happens. Can i download it somewhere.

If it's saying that no device can be found you sure you have a burner to begin with? It's a separate drive from the normal cd drive you know. Then try what you did all over again because I burn through Windows myself.

Hi, If you are using windows media player 10 you can easily burn your selection if you have a burner.
If you don't have media player 10 you can download it to upgrade your old player.
If you have a burner and media player with the burn facility select your burner in the top right corner drop down tab on your burning screen.
Also check your system properties hardware to make sure your burner is not disabled.

Are you certain you have a CD burner connected to your system? Using a dedicated burning program might help also. Nero or Easy CD Creator are 2 of the better ones.

Download a ripping program from the internet. Then you should be able to record streaming music at the least. I know that doesn't help much but you'll have to find the name of one yourself. I don't want them to take away the one I am using if it is illegal.

put a cd( r) in the rewriter , drive
right click the drive click on explorer
then move the music files to the rewriter drive.open window ,then at the top of the rewriter .open window
click on file .then on write these files to cd
then click on ok
