It could be both! Pregnancy induced hypertension and Gestational Diabetes go hand in hand. Have you had an ultrasound yet? Symptoms of these before 20 weeks can be a sign of a more serious condtions, like a molar pregnancy (this is rare and can be ruled out if an ultrasound has already been done) As far as treatment they can give certain medicine for the hypertension and the diabetes must be controlled with insulin in the shot form.. With hypertension some patients may experience headaches, dizziness, or blurred vision, most often high blood pressure presents no symptoms and the patient is completely unaware that they have high blood pressure until something happens that requires medical attention. With low blood pressure you can also have the dizziness (hypotension is more common with pregnancy) , headache, fatigue. Shortness of Breath.... Really, they have the same signs-so the only way to really know is to have it checked. Hoped this helped and don't let the molar pregnancy thing scare you-even if you havent' had an ultrasound it's very rare!

There unfortunately NO obvious signs to high blood pressure which is also one reason it is so dangerous there can be complaints of headache dizziness tired frquently or just feeling tense theese can also be symptoms of 100 other things if there is a reason to believe you could be at risk. check it yourself from time to time many over the counter kits are available and most stores have a blood pressure booth. the same information is true for low blood pressure however more complaints of being dizzy or tired some people actually pass out NOTHING IS AS GOOD AS YOUR DR`S REGULAR EXAM this gives them a baseline and a better chance at early detection which is primary.........

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

high blood pressure (hypertension) has no visible signs this is why it is known as "the silent killer". Dizziness is a common sign of low blood pressure.
