I am having a small panic attack....

I was hanging out with Scout (shepherd mix, 5 months old) and she suddenly hunched over like she was about to poop, but then her rear end and back legs started shaking like crazy - she moved around like this for about 10 seconds and then suddenly stopped. She sat down, perfectly normal. We then played fetch, she ate lunch, and she seems fine. What was that?

Scout might be constipated.

My Bassett had that when she was a puppy. Keep an eye on Scout and make sure she can poop & when she does you might want to take a look and see if there are little white worms in there. That's what happened to my dog & we had to get some medicine from the vet. Not a big deal but any time I go to the vet I wind up spending like $100. Oh yeah I almost forgot when you go to the vet they will probably want a stool sample. Enjoy.

Dog had similar problem. I'm so sorry. Two things same thing-Kidney Stones or Bladder Stones. I'm hoping not it cost a lot of money with my dog I think it was over one thousand dollars. OUCH! Take that dog to the vet ASAP. They suggested surgery or . . .put down/sleep. I'm hoping that dog is just constipated! If it's been going on for a while, please for your dog's safety and for my state mind, take the poor thing to the vet! If it's just poop than he should be okay, and most likely it is constipation. Sometimes it happens with pee as well. My dog had Bladder Stones she's seven right now, but if it gets to that time again, my dog might not even physically exist as living-breathing thing.

Sounds like a pooping problem, keep an eye on her if she doesn't go and does this again see a vet. The problem may have worked its way out if she goes fine now.

My dachshund had the same problem. It's constipation. Try a way to help it. I tried a banana...not a good idea. She got horrible diarrhea for a week.

she probably has a costitpation issue.. so the easiest way to do it is put some oil on her food and let her eat it.. then taked fastly outside and she will start pooping and it will also flush any bacteria like worms

She could possibly be constipated. If you feed her those rawhide bones and she eats them too fast, that could be the problem. Otherwise, I'm not too sure!
