i mean you talked to them for a while on friendly terms and gradually you realise you have more than friendly feelings for them?

it's happened to me very recently and it sucks coz i can't be with him, not for the foreseeable future anyway. :(

how did it work out for you?

Maybe not so much "surprised"... more like: I never INTENDED or EXPECTED to have stronger feelings for that someone....

You and I are basically "wearing the same pair of shoes"... and it does suck; not seeing how it could possibly "be"....or not knowing how to make it "work"...

In my situation.....
I'm sitting at my computer right now... but my heart has traveled many miles, today.... and it's "with Him"...and He knows that, and that's what matters, right now.

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

That makes two of us and i feel there are many more that are getting to know this too.
My dear, the chemistry that binds two together is beyond biological understanding: Its pure ELECTRICITY.
Sometime, its best to weight the situation, know what you stand to gain or loose and do what your mind tells you.
Note: Best friends almost always make the best couples

You did not explain why you can not be with him but however, it's a common feeling. You appreciate people more when you know them better. Even when you do not want a committed relationship with this person, you can be friends with privileges.

That never happens to me, because I'm very shallow, and I only care about the pu$$y.
