Buckinghamshire covers a big area! For the South Bucks area "pay and play" courses you could try include Wexham Park, Farnham Park nr Farnham Common, Uxbridge, Ruislip, Stockley Park nr Heathrow, Wycombe Heights nr High Wycombe. I'm not sure any of them are particularly great - the best ones are definitely members clubs. You could pay a green fee for these and I would include Beaconsfield, Stoke Poges, The Lambourne nr Burnham, Richings Park nr Heathrow, Flackwell Heath nr High Wycombe.

There are very few golf clubs that the public cant pay to play (such as Wisely or Swinley), there are just restrictions on the times you can play...so presuming you're willing to dip into your pocket for the green fees, here's my selection...: Sunningdale, The Berkshire, Stoke Park, St Georges Hill, Coombe Hill, New Zealand, Royal Wimbledon and Wentworth. Good luck!

There's The Grove in Watford, where Tiger Woods is currently on course to win the Amex Champisonship.
'The Grove is without doubt one of the finest facilities I have ever seen anywhere in the world.'
- Gary Player
"With the course open to everyone and no stuffiness or silly dress restrictions" - from their website
It'll cost you, though (£125 in autumn)!
