i recently got my apendix taken out and im getting the staples taken out today...does it hurt to get them taken out (plz be honest)

You might feel a slight pinching when they remove the staples but not too awful. Just deep breathe & concentrate on something else!!!!

Well, that depends on the skill and expertise of the one removing the staples. If it's done well, you'll feel slight pinching and/or tugging but no real pain. Even with an inept person, the pain or discomfort is bearable. You'll live.

And someone suggested applying Oragel to the staple site. Bad idea. Don't apply anything before you go in.

I had staples taken out of my head a year back, I couldn't feel it really but where yours is on soft, sensitive skin it'll probably be a little hellion because I had 11 stiches in my stomach and those hurt like the dickens getting them out.

a little pain yes, but heres the remidy, if your wound has healed already then apply some oragel before you go to the doctors, this will numb it up and you will not fell anything, if your wound is open then apply oragel around but away from the open wound good luck

Not really..I had them from stomach surgerey and it was itchy more than anything
