Drinking is fun, but hangovers suck.

1. Drink a TON of water. Suck down as much water as you can before you go to sleep.
2. Drink a TON of water in the morning.
3. Take a multi-vitimin after a big breakfast.

The shakes are due to dehydration and a lack of vitimins in your system.

Getting food and water into you is the best thing to solve the shakes. The simplest diet solution is some fruit juice. I am concerned about your shakes though. It may indicate that your blood sugar is taking a serious (not normal) nosedive after drinking alcohol. You might want to go take a glucose tolerance test at the doctors office. My sister-in-law also used to get the shakes after a night of imbibing and had really seriously strange smelling perspiration. Turns out she was hypoglycemic. Now that she knows how to coddle her blood sugar she does just fine. If you are hypoglycemic you want to investigate the cause--often a problem with your adrenal glands. Fruit juice in large quantities would cause the same reaction (the shakes). Good Luck!

if you have the shakes then you are an alcoholic and are having delerium tremors - or you will have them soon

get into a hospital and get detoxified you alcoholic. Alcohol wrecks the body and nervous system just like cocaine - this is just the beginning - you will be in hell soon - if you want a quick fix to the shakes then take a V - get a valium or another tranquilizer from a doctor or st johns wart is better to chill out on.

ugh I hate that feeling! I always make sure I have Red Bull or any other type of energy drink with me because they help to restore the electrolytes. Someone also told me to drink pedialyte (used for dehydrated kids) it does the same thing.

Another beer, or make sure you eat, i do chocolate! I dont find myself in this position often but when i am its usually a case of too much beer and forgetting to eat. If you insist on having a skinful try the lower %of alcohol and dont forget when your hungery dont ignor it (easier said than done when supping!)

Ummm...don't drink! LOL!!
But as the folks above said, avoid dehydration. Water is good.
Orange juice will help give your bod the sugar it needs. And vitamin B12; helps liver function.
Hope you don't do this often....going through the DT's this week REALLY sucked...

Peace...

Don't drink on the weekends. Easy enough. However, if you are stupid enough to do so, remember that it is all about rehydration. Lots of water.
