The problem could be your phone set. Take another phone with the cord and plug it into the jack and test it. If it works then you'll know the problem was the phone. Good Luck.

Would need more information to answer this accurately.
What happens when you dial? Does the dial tone stay, do you get dead air, do you get a fast busy signal, a recording?
How long have you had the line for?
If recent, do you make many long distance or receive many collect calls?

Did you pay the phone bill? If so call the phone company, and if not pay the bill.

Just like nextel, if your incomming calls are free, you will always get those, but if u dont pay the bill, you wont b allows to make outgoing calls.

if you did not pay your bill, they may have blocked your outgoing calls. call the phone company
