you can't just switch. first you have to complete your Active Duty Obligation. this is anywhere from 15 months to six years, depending on Branch and job specialty. after that, you can try and get into a different branch, but currently, the Air Force will not accept any prior service applicants, and the Navy will only take certain skillsets.

there is a program called Blue to Green, where AF and Navy personnel may switch over to the Army or Marines with no break in service and without completing their AOS, but your command must be willing to gap your billet and the Army/marines must have need of your skillset as well.

It varies from country to country. Usually, the air force is thought to be the toughest to get into. You can usually switch from the air force to the army or navy. You need to check with an army recruitment officer. They have their specifc terms and conditions. But in my opinion, once you get selected in the air force and not go for the basic training, you can switch over. After you are done with the training, I think it isn't possible. I switched from the air force to army before I went through the basic training. Best of luck!

It's not that easy to simply "switch" from one branch of the service to another. If you're already in the Army, you're expected to complete your enlistment of 2, 4 or 6 years (whatever you signed up for). However, in some cases, you may be allowed to separate early in order to "switch" to another branch of the service. That's called a voluntary separation, and it's handled by your Military Personnel unit. WARNING: The Air Force is the most difficult branch of the service to get into -- most applications for intra-service transfer from another branch into the Air Force are denied.

if you are in the army it doesn't mean you are fit to serve in the air force....MAN UP!!! resign from the army and enlist in the air force. if you can't pass basic you have no business being in the service in the first place!!!!!!!

Finish their term in the branch they are in and then enlist for different branch of service.

You don't. Once your enlistment is up and you are discharged, you can join another service. You can't change once you are already in
