I have a good friend that I have gotten close with lately. I told her that she has been flirty with me, and I had grown feelings. I then told her that she is my type. She told me she thought we were friends. Last time I talked to her; she asked me what I meant by 'define our friendship' the last time we emailed, and then later in the convo, says she is really glad we're good friends because she thought I was going to say 'you are not my type'. I told her she is 'my type' as a result. Now, she treats me better than ever, and she talks to me more than ever. She is a bit nervous around me, but she feels closer than ever. What does she want?

I think she is really interested in you , and the fact that she knows you are interested it is now making her nervous around you.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Hunny...It sounds to me as if she's not 100% sure what she wants. I was that girl a couple of years ago...I had a v good guy friend. He told me how he felt and I did what this girl seems to be doing. I told him I was glad we were best friends etc which, sadly usually means the girl just wants to be friends...Although you mention she is closer to you now more than ever and the thing about types. I think she most probably wants you to have a crush on her (all girls love it!) she sounds flattered. But realistically I don't think this relationship is going to go any further than what it is. Remember, friendship is such a beautiful thing, don't fret! ;) Just ask her straight, its not fair for anyone to be kept in the dark. xx

Y'all are so abstract, it's no wonder no one knows what anyone is saying!
What do you mean you have "grown feelings"?
What did you say when you "defined friendship"?
What did you mean when you said she's "your type"?

I have no idea what she wants. what do you want?
