I have two kittens that I have raised sence they were 3 days old, the mother got killed. The male is wonderful and pretty much listens and stays out of trouble, but my female calico, is into everthing and doesn't listen well. I have tryed just about everything I can do at this point, but when she gets in trouble and punished for it, she get into something else right away. They are both a little over 2 months old. What can I do? I will not give her up, that is not an option!

Instead of hitting (even very lightly) try holding the kitten up to your face and hissing at her. This is what the mother cat does to correct her kittens.
This is not a situation where a water spray is going to help.

You're surprised that a kitten isn't "listening" to you and is getting into everything? OK......
Cats don't listen the same way dogs do. It's quite a bit different. Cats can sense when you're mad, but a lot of the time, they couldn't care less, lol. Telling your kitten "No, no" isn't NEARLY as effective as a blast from a water bottle or squirt gun.
But still keep in mind that kittens DO get into everything. She'll slow down with age.

How is she punished? I would use a plant sprayer set on 'stream' to squirt her when she is doing something naughty. Another thing to do is throw a soft beanbag near her, or to shake a big jar of pennies. You're trying to startle her so she will stop doing that behavior.
My cat hates the rustling of plastic grocery bags, so when she's bad I rustle some of those at her.
Shout 'NO!" really loud, too.

Well I had to give mine a "time out" before and seemed to work alright. I would put her in the bathroom and shut the door for a little bit and when she was allowed back out I reminded her what she did wrong and well worked for me. Since she is so little she is just being curious and checking out her surroundings so if you can give her some time she will settle down some.

Shes a kitten .It sounds like normal kitten behavior. How do you punish a cat? I hope you don't mean by hitting her!!!
