That is something to talk to your manager about.. It could be that rules have changed since the others moved in with thier pets..
When rules change, they are often a result of an insurance increase..so management cuts back on pet policies..

I was in the apartment business for 8 years and believe me when I say...I feel for you!! Here's the deal,...... it sounds like "Pets allowed" was OK at one time but different management has a way of changing things around more time than not especiely when they are non pet lovers. Here's what you can do...Go over they'er head to the owner or management company and show them the contract stating that you can have a pet with deposits even if you have to fax it ( maybe Highlight that part ) and just ask them can you or can't you?? hope this works for u :)

I'm pretty sure the addendum overrides the lease itself. However, I'd wait till I lived somewhere that wasn't charging an extra $25 per month. That's ridiculous. A deposit I understand, in case of damages.

A ferret is the ideal puppy for you. Ferrets make somewhat any noise(very low chattering noises whilst a ferret gets happy) Ferrets are clutter field trainable. A ferret would be only as friendly as cat or dogs if given consistent interest and working with. once you're long previous lots of the day at school, do not hassle ferrets sleep an wide-unfold of 20 hours an afternoon and the different 4 is hyperactive playtime. A small house is sufficient room to make a ferret happy. And plus a ferret is extra desirable than probable to be neutered or spayed from any puppy shop you purchase a ferret from. some human beings whinge in regards to the scent, yet once you provide a shower a minimum of as quickly as a month with the main appropriate ferret shampoo it is rarely major.

Well you can either take a chance and keep your pet inside and not let anyone know until someone says something, then act stupid like you didnt know since other people have pets. Or you can find out by going to both sources and make sure that they are allowed or not.

Take the lease to them and flat out ask them. If they say there are to be no pets then they need to rewrite their contract. On the other hand if you have the pet addendum and can prove it, get a pat and see if they try to kick you out. Then if they do, you can sue

If the addendum says you could have a pet, you are allowed to have a pet.

I never paid a pet deposite or told my apartments that I had a pet. Just make sure they don't make a "mess" of the carpet and you should be fine.

They may be turning into a no pet building, the will no longer let new tenants have pets, and eventually it will be a no pet building. The people with pets already, are grand-fathered in.
