I'm a Christian and from my point of view, I know that in Revelations it talks about two deaths. The first death being the physical death, and the second being the spiritual death. Everyone goes through the first death, but only those who go to hell goes through the second death. So I would beleive that those who don't experience the second death, are still living. So I would say Yes there is Life after death.

No definite answer for this from anyone else yet the answer will come from yourself out of your belief. If your faith teaches existence of life after death then be it. If you cannot accept such idea then its up to you. We will know the right answer when the right time comes.
One thing I know I am sure is that you won't loose anything if you believe to such thing. At least you can do something to have a better life after death if there is really such thing. While if do not believe in it and fail to do something good now, you will suffer forever in your life after death - you are the big loser in this case.
For me, I truly believe that there is life after death.

There is not only life after death, but life before birth also, the soul or self that is temporarily covered by a material body is eternal, at no time did the soul or self not exist and at no time in the future shall the soul cease to be.
Actually there is no such thing as death, when the current material body is finished then the soul or self will leave the material body and according to the mentality that has been created in this life, will either return to the spiritual world, or if the activities have been more worldly, accept another material body and continue on the journey.
The Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 8 Verse 6 states:-
Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, that state he will attain without fail.
Purport by HDG A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
The process of changing one's nature at the critical moment of death is here explained. A person who at the end of his life quits his body thinking of KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a attains the transcendental nature of the Supreme Lord, but it is not true that a person who thinks of something other than KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a attains the same transcendental state. This is a point we should note very carefully. How can one die in the proper state of mind? MahÄrÄja Bharata, although a great personality, thought of a deer at the end of his life, and so in his next life he was transferred into the body of a deer. Although as a deer he remembered his past activities, he had to accept that animal body. Of course, one's thoughts during the course of one's life accumulate to influence one's thoughts at the moment of death, so this life creates one's next life. If in one's present life one lives in the mode of goodness and always thinks of KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a, it is possible for one to remember KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a at the end of one's life. That will help one be transferred to the transcendental nature of KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a. If one is transcendentally absorbed in KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a's service, then his next body will be transcendental (spiritual), not material. Therefore the chanting of Hare KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a, Hare KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a, KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a, Hare Hare/ Hare RÄma, Hare RÄma, RÄma RÄma, Hare Hare is the best process for successfully changing one's state of being at the end of one's life.

"As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change." Bhagavad Gita 2.13.
"As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones".Bhagavad Gita 2.22
How did you get this life? In the same way after you are dead, you can get another life.

Yes! I'm living proof! I've been here before and I'll be back again!
PS: And I'm not like some of the living who look like death warmed over! I got a new body and everything. I look good!
Not conceit, just confident!

"beyond a stupid god and the immortal man"
life after death idea came from the man's fear of dying, and becoming dirt. the idea again did not come from a god because people already believed in it in various form prior to the establishment of mono-theistic religion. the Hindus believed in reincarnation (they also made a widow to jump in her husband's funeral pyre so she would be together with him in the after life), and the Egyptians buried food and animals and other materials with the dead,

even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
SPIRIT: Num.16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said,
O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin,
and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation.
Isa.42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens,
and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth,
and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath
unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
SPIRIT RETURNS TO GOD:

it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
SPIRIT RETURNS TO RESURRECT THE DEAD:
Psm.104:29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled:
thou takest away their breath,
they die, and return to their dust.
Psm.104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created:
and thou renewest the face of the earth. Job 19:25,26; My
flesh will decay, yet in my flesh I shall see God by my
redeemer at the latter day.

death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have
dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty
shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
DEATH: Psm.146:3 Put not yourtrust in princes,
nor in the son of man,in whom there is no help.
Psm.146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth
to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

which made heaven and earth. Psm.115:16 The

but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not
left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

I saw under the altar the souls of them that
were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:
Rev.6:10 And they cried with a loud voice,
saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true,
dost thou not judge and avenge our blood
on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev.6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for
a little season, until their fellowservants also and their
brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be
fulfilled. John 6:39,40,44[raised up at last day];
