Color suggestions are going to depend a bit on what time of day the wedding takes place. If it's an evening wedding, then I would say black is still an option.

The biggest hurdle with choosing color is that you don't want to detract from the bride or wedding party. If you choose black, make sure you don't look like you're going to a funeral. If you choose red (cuz let's face it, it's the holiday season and a popular color), try to lean towards more of a burgundy or maroon or at least some shade that doesn't scream "fire engine." Don't wear the same color as the bridesmaids (personal opinion).

If it works with your coloring, I would suggest a dress in a slightly muted jewel tone.

You can wear whatever color you really want. Like red is a good winter color, or a dark green. Bolder colors are winter colors. You want to wear a long dress or a pant suit. Have fun.

it quite is often confusing for me too. I only went to a minimum of one and that i wore black dress pants and an exceptionally dressy pink silk ideal and the neck became embellished in black sequins. i'm additionally going to a distinctive wintry climate wedding ceremony quickly and that i'm wearing a silver skirt it is style of poofy with black tights and a black cashmiere short sleeve turtle neck ideal that has a small belt around it with a rinestone buckle

You can put on a dress or you can put on some pants with a nice dressie shirt or you can put the same color of the bride but do it in your own way

If it is formal or black tie, it must be a long gown.

You should not wear a white, black, or red dress.
