My dad is six two himself and my mom was five seven.
My husbands dad is about five seven and his mom is about five eight.

This is going to sound mean, but they often say how big a babies feet are will show how tall they will be. Just like puppies. My son was 22 inches when he was born and his feet were already in size 1 shoe. My doctor said that he would probably be over 6 foot.

He may be a bit taller than most, but its hard to tell. My youngest brother is 5 9, older brother 5 6 and im 5 4. Our parents were 5 2 and 5 6. Just depends on the child I would say.

Genetically, of course its a possibility, even a probability. But I must tell you, in my all-over-six-feet women-included-family there is always one short twig on the family tree. I'm it at 5'4" and I've derived great pleasure from biting the knees of kith and kin.
Height isn't everything.
I would hope you would want him to grow to be a bright, happy soul, no matter what his height may be.

I read somewhere that a child's height is usually the average of his parent's height, +/- 4".
5' 10" = 70"
5' 11" = 71"
70+71= 141/2= 70.5 70.5+4= 74.5 70.5-4=66.5
So your son will likely be between 66.5" and 74.5" or 5'5 1/2" and 6'2 1/2"

Don't hate!! I'm not fat I wieght 105 lbs perfect for my hieght. I'm a hottie and my husband cheats cause we live 350 miles away from each other. He works out of town and comes home every other weekend. Trust me he told me him self hed doesnt know why he cheats all the other women dont even look as hot as me, so I know I look good. Plus most men like little women. They can pick up up and do more things to you. Plus no one wants a women that's bigger than them. He may turn out taller than the both of you. My brothers are both at least 2 inches taller than my 6'2" Dad and my sisters and I are all 1-4" taller than my 5'7 Mom. My husband is three inches taller than any of his family members.

My husband's dad was 5"5 and his mom was 6 ft. He is 6"8. I don't know if this helps you but I think of it as something that can happen--or can't.

Chances are good that he will be tall, but those recessive genes may come into play, and your son could possibly be like great-great-grandpa Hank who was 5' 8" tall.
