I had a bankruptcy about 1 year ago...and would like to be able to finally purchase a home. My credit is rebuilding nicely. anyone know of a mortgage company that will work with someone in my situation?

Wow..You are asking for a lot here..Hope you make it but doesn't sound good..Usually takes 7 years of good credit to wipe out bankruptcy

You need to contact a mortgage broker. They have many lenders that will be able help you.

Ck with your bank....loan officer...they can advise you and many are willing to give you a chance.

If you go thru one of the private loan/fast loan business.....you can end up paying thru your nose...so to speak. Not the way to go for a first time buyer.

If you have already gone thru a Realtor.....that is part of their job. They know the ins and outs. Talk to them.
