I wanted to get some ready to bake or already baked taro rolls for a Hawaiian themed BBQ.

I don't want to make them. I want to buy them already made or bake some already made dough. I don't have time to go look for ready made poi.

Contributor: Miulang
Recipe Number: 1099865219

Ingredients:
1 pkg Active dry yeast
1 1/2 C Lukewarm water
1/2 C Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 C Vegetable oil 2 Eggs
1 C Mashed taro root (or 1 c ready made poi)
7 C Flour
Purple food coloring (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water in large bowl. Stir in sugar, salt, oil, eggs and mashed taro and food coloring. Beat with electric mixer until combined. Add 4 c flour. Continue beating until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour so that mixture is easy to handle. Turn out onto lightly floured surface (or use dough hook on stand mixer); knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes). Place in greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap (or use 1 gallon plastic freezer bag) and refrigerate for 8 hours, but no more than 3 or 4 days. Punch down dough. Let rest 5 to 10 minutes. Shape dough as desired. let rise until doubled in size (about 30 to 40 minutes). Bake on greased pan in preheated 400 degree oven 15 to 25 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter. Serve warm. Makes about 18 large rolls.

Hello! I'm assuming that you don't live in Hawaii because if you did, there would be lots of groceries and bakeries where you could buy them ready-made. You can order taro bread fully baked here:

but keep in mind that shipping and handling's going to be very expensive, more expensive than the taro bread itself since it's coming from Hawaii. Sorry, can't give you local advice since I don't know where you live.
