If so, are you a disobedient concubine? Does your religious man abuse you in the name of godliness? I hope not. I hate people who do that. What are your thoughts?

I think that a little slap on my bottom, at the right time of course, could be very arousing.

Dear Sister,

Our Prophet Mohammad taught us that the best of all Muslims are those who treat their wives and children with respect. There is another saying of the Prophet, that those who light the candle in the mosque, while their own homes and families are sitting in the dark are hypocrites. They need to first light the candle in their homes, THEN they should think about the mosque later.

The Prophet used to stand up in respect for his teenage daughter if she would enter the mosque. All the old companions used to stand up because he stood up. Some companions grumbled to him that his love for his daughter is making them stand up for a kid. The Prophet replied learn what I am teaching you. If you do not respect your women, the mothers and future mothers or aunts of your children, how can you respect yourself?

Similarly all females were taught that they should respect the males in their communities as the parents of their society IF they respect their society.

If not dogs and cats do not respect each other nor their coming generations. Sorry for being blunt here.

THAT said, there are also crimes and punishments to establish a just and merciful society. In the old days men and women were wild and needed corporal punishments, which is sad. A criminal who would murder someone, would have the fear of being killed himself, which kept him in check.

However, no punishments are devised for a saint. The saint would not commit wrong against anyone, and the punishments are not designed for such a person.

However if you eliminate all jails and let the criminals lose in the name of compassion, that would be a great injustice. If you ask any sensible criminal who is in jail for say ten years, if he would exchange his jail sentence for one hundred lashes, in all likelihood most would opt for the temporary pain and suffering that will heal to losing ten years locked up in jail, even though you are being given free boarding.

I hope this makes sense in an oblique way in answer to your question, which is a bit too unwarranted for this day and age at least in my opinion, as there are no concubines anywhere to my knowledge and no one beats their slaves any more.

Islam by the way has laws to set slaves free. If a concubine bears a child, she is to be set free. If you miss a fast in Ramadan you are supposed to free a slave. If you do not have one, then you buy one and free him. If you take an oath and do not fulfill it, you have to free a slave.

There are 1.3 billion Muslims in the World. Each year there are 30 days of fasts that all Muslims are obligated to observe. That makes close to forty billion fasts. If you say that only twenty five percent of the people are REQUIRED to keep the fast, that is ten billion fasts or enough to free all the World's population two times IN A SINGLE YEAR. If you multiply this over many centuries, you can see how vast the number of freed slaves gets.

So, God does not want anyone to be enslaved by any one.

I hope this makes sense.

Chritianity believe in ONE Man & ONE Woman married.

The Priests are very against violence within marriage as marriage should reflect the goodness of God; reflects the Trinity. So, aggression within the marriage is disrespecting the Trinity. Certainly, corrections are needed for a loving marriage, but these corrections are like correcting a child. Abuse is not welcome.

God doesn't approve of concubines.
There is alot of stuff in the Bible that men did that doesn't necessarily carry God's Official Seal of Approval...
The problem is, the Bible is honest about reporting people's behavior, and people assume that because it's in there, God must be OK with it.
Not so, at ALL......
