We believe that their are some prophets we know about and others we don't right? But of course no prophets came after Prophet Muhamad (PBUH). I've been researching Budda (563?-483 B.C.) and honestly from an Islamic prospective, it seems that he was inspried with knowledge by Allah. His teaching seem truly Islamic, there is no way this guy just came up with this in his head. His life is too similar to other prophets that we know about, and its too truthful to be made up. Allah says in the bible and Quran that the believers medidate throughout the night and do good deeds. His teaching represents how Muslims who reach a higher peak in Islam think...Seriously.

What do you think? I know it sounds outlandish, but so does Muhammad being a prophet to others..... I am Muslim and read the Quran, but I also continue to search for knowledge. It increases my level of understanding of the Quran; Buddha just brought that up ten fold. Now I know Allah is unique and the Greatest.

That is an excellent discovery. I also like to research instead of believing what our ancestors believed in. Reading the Quran with historical references has given me the knowledge I lacked. There is infact no prophet after Muhammad (PBUH), however, Allah did not stop sending people who would convey his message to the others. I believe that race/religion does not come in between who gets to be the chosen one. There are people of other faiths and religions that are living their lives described by God in the Quran...infact, us Muslims should learn from these people and who are we to say that just because he is Buddha, he will go to hell even though he spent all his life like God wanted him to...

Since u read the Quraan I guess it is clear there is not, nor will there be another prophet after Muhammad(saw).I understand what your saying about budda but u have to remember that Allah does inspire others but it those not mean that they are prophets.Budda was not a Muslim right?Just checking.Although he was not a Muslim it does not mean we can't learn something from him. That's just once it does not go against the Quraan and sunnah. So to your question I say budda may have been inspired by Allah and we all could learn something from him.
PS may I suggest u read some more Islamic books instead, so u could avoid becoming confused.

No offense, with Buddha. I am Christians, But Buddha teach about love, wisdom, forgiveness, kindness, Karma, Reincarnation. They never teach about violent or Hate. It is a good religion.

But Islam, allow violent to protect their religion, full of hate with other religion and more pleasure for men. You should know what I am talking about.

I am also learning about Buddha, He is good Prophet
