I'm not one, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Be free and do what makes you happy! :)

To be a satanist, I'd have to believe in satan, and I've seen no more evidence of his existence than god's. So I'm not one. If you want to, go for it. Just think carefully about what you do. Most of the satanists I've known (a few, not many) didn't give a damn about anyone but themselves and generally caused a lot of harm to those around them. Is that really the kind of person you want to be? If you just want to rebel against Christians, atheists seem to infuriate them much more, probably because we are right (nah nah nah). But whatever you do, have fun and be responsible.

well, i'm not a satanist but i hav communicated with many and hav found all of them rather weird. the truth is they are confused abt their own beliefs!!! i've even chked out the site of LA's church of satan and found the entire concept quite futile and gross
i accept the fact the many a times humans feel tht there's no 'god' to help or heal. anyways, if u feel so be an athiest instead of being a satanist
coz being a satanist means that u do believe in god, altho u do not worship him

What kind of Satanist are you talking about? The Satanist that doesn't believe in God or Satan and only believe in them selves or the kind that worships Satan? The difference is great and you should really tell the difference when you make a statement.

Go for it buddy! I'm not a Satanist but whatever works for you is good. But, Bush already beat you to being the Antichrist - don't get your hopes up on that one. Go talk to him though, maybe he needs some help

My only question, as a non-believer, is this:

If you worship and believe in Satan... Are you not also required to believe in God. The two are nothing without eachother, correct?

I'm not will to put the effort into it. The christards are going to freak out and think you worship the devil though. That is the big pay off that make me want to, but I'm just too lazy.

I'm not, but I'd admit it if I was.

I rather like their "10 commandments," but some of them are a little more potentially violent than suits me.

you got that free will from God...yes you can do whatever you want, but everything has a consequence.
the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.

LUKE 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
