It all depends where and how you got it. If you got the number by stealing it off her, or some other infantile way then I would say you'd be better off just throwing it away. If you got it legitimately by asking around until you found someone that knew it, she might take it as a compliment and praise you. (But be advised that you had better not try lying to her, because she'll find out, and then be REALLY pissed!)

To be a man you've got to ask for the number from the person you're wanting to talk to. I'm not saying it wouldn't work but you've got a 50/50 chance.
If she's nice she'll give you a chance. If you *think* she likes you when she may like you, but not in that way...it'll probably blow up in your face and you'll prob miss your chance.
I'd say save it, it will just be too awkward, go ahead and just ask for her number yourself. Its the practical way of doing things.

Go for it-I had guys call me before who I hadn't given my number too and I found it rather charming that the would go through the effort of getting my number from someone so they could contact me!

It depends on her I suppose. Some girls might feel a little disrespected by the fact you didn't just ask her for it yourself.
Some girls on the other hand would be flattered that you found the means to get it via trickery! :o)
I would be flattered if it were me, assuming I liked the guy.

How do you know she likes you? And it woudl be better on ur part if you had a friend tell her they gave u her # so you could hear what her recation was to that.. Are just go up to her talk to her and if she likes you as u say she does then ask her for her # ur self. Even though u already have it. She'd feel better if she gave it to u herself.

If she likes you why hasn't she given you her number?
I would say go ahead and call her and find out. If she does like you maybe she was scared to give it to you thinking you would reject her... you will never know till you find out.

she could be creeped out a bit. but if you're friends then it shouldn't be a big deal. if she likes you then it should be fine though.
