What will become of the unit of measure known as the 'RCH' if the metric system is fully adopted???

The "RCH" will always exist in practical engineering, because there is no other standard that comes close to meaning the same thing (very short distance/very small amount).

We still use it in surveying. Usually it means: close enough. Yes, we all know what it stands for. Those of us who are civilized use the abbreviation.
