I made judgments just deciding on which grape in my lunch to eat next. Making judgments is an automatic process akin to a reflex. We see a rock on the left and a rock on the right and judge that there are two rocks. As C. S. Lewis described in his book Miracles, who among us if someone were to snatch food from our hands or dump us out of our beds wouldn't judge that we had been wronged? If you suddenly turned and saw someone strike another, would you not instantly have a judgment?

Being reasonable, we try to explore issues more fully to see whether judgments stick. With additional information we sometimes change or modify our judgments. Pre-judging or assessing from first impressions are completely unavoidable--carving those assessments into stone or acting upon them without full knowledge or understanding is the problem. At issue is what we do afterwards.

Yes, to the extent that judgement means discernment. That was the point of The Apostle; To use a righteous judgment. We can judge a question on YA to know if it's humor, serious, hostile or a call for help. Judgement is okay if it does not condemn.

Yes, I used to judge aggressively but now I realized that I wouldn't won't people to pass judgment on me so now My judgments are silent. I tend to just by their fruit. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks that how I know what a person is truly.

Of couse I have. I use good judgement and sometimes bad judgement. I have tried to learn not to judge in sin.(being judgemental) which I am sure that is what you are talking about. Many times the Lord will teach me that I am being harsh to someone, and I have to correct my thinking.

I know once I was talking about Joel Olsteen, a very public tv minister. I personally don't like to listen to him. I thought he was a very "milk toast preacher". The Lord quickly said to me, sometimes when someone is most sick all they can eat is milktoast.

We all judge. People who say "you shouldn't judge" are judging. They are judging that person as wrong because he is making a judgement which would make them wrong as well.

Oh yeah, every time you look at someone and don't like what they look like or compare something about them to yourself or someone else you are judging.
