Because modern man lacks substance. Our educational system has dumbed down our youth's intellects, and the entertainment media have dumbed down our consciences and sense of value. Today's television sitcoms appear to have been written by third-year high school freshmen with hormonal problems. Most television programming by the four major networks are nothing more than expeditions into vanity. Some thrive on sexual innuendoes (or worse) and vulgarities. Not much is presented that would cause a person to think, "I want to be moral" or "I must come to know God better than I do."

Many of the Jews in the first century were just as stubborn and resistant to the Truth as the ACLU is today. Both possess an unreasoning, irrational, rabid hostility towards Christianity which promotes goodness, decency, ethical integrity, and lofty moral values. Churches cannot correct society's problems when our current culture is doing everything it can to stifle their influence.

it's not my job or interest to prove anything to you or anyone. You have a right to believe/not to believe what you want. Do that.
I accept the the truth of the gospel MY salvation. If I'm wrong, I'll live and die with that.
NO ONE can PROVE the truth of the gospel. By it's own accounts, it will be revealed to all at judgement.

Peace

If you mean, am I an African-American? Yes. But I'm a christian first.

My words are intended to echo the will of Christ in all that I say.

Thank you so much Prof Kilo!
There are so many ills and illussions that our children are presented with, it's no wonder we are raising up generations of killers, rapists, broken families, etc.
But I believe that God knows those are his.
Continue to keep the faith, brother!

Truth shines a light on sin. Sin is like a cockroach. When you shine a light on them they run for cover cause they don't want to be exposed. But you can't get rid of the roaches/sin until you can expose/find them. Once you do that then you have a chance to have that which is unclean become clean.

Yet another perfect example of a Christian posing a question that is nothing more than a thinly veiled ranting about others, designed to have your fellow believers stroke your ego by agreeing with what you state.

Get a life. Asking people with similar beleif as you about why no one else wants your "truth" is just assinine.

Christianity 'promotes goodness, decency, ethical integrity etc'?

There has been more bloodshed in the name of the so-called Christian God than any other in the world. Makes even Hitler seem a decent sort.

Enter the real world.

The "dumbing down" of our educational system has victimized you as well, as you seem to think you make a word plural with apostrophe. It's "Christians."

All you say is true - my opinion - all a result of evolutionary teaching imposed on us all. If one believes in no God, if one believes that everything just came by with chance, what moral values do we have? How does one determine right from wrong?

You seem confused, it is the Christians who are opposed to truth. It is they who attack and undermine scientific research and education, it is they who feed innocent children false information, it is they who wish to plunge the world into another Dark Age.

Since you are yet another one who claims to know THE TRUTH, why don't you prove it? Prove your god exists. If it's true, it should be easy.

REVELATION! We are doing just what the Bible says. Look to the sky and wait for Him. Not much longer til we all see Him. The signs are all there.
