What's laughable is the constant parroting of creationist websites regarding what science says. It's like consulting a janitor on brain surgery.
But it's their belief so it should be "respected". I don't think so.

No one can be 'an expert on God.' You may not need a high school education to find God. Education is not a criteria of the knowledge of God.
Kids are very good at programming VCR's; does this mean that they are smarter than their parents who can't do so?
Don't blame people for thinking they have all the right answers; in doing so, you will first have to blame yourself thinking that you alone have the correct answers.
For your homework, look at yourself for five minutes in your bathroom mirror and just laugh hysterically at yourself..you will be so much more matured. Trust me.

yes indeed they are laughable, But, have you not consider some good things about this people? They choose the best part in their life to know God first. It is written "seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and everything shall be added unto thee"
"Added unto thee" means future event, who knows in the future they might maintain B average in God providence, in God mercy and benevolence, God will removed thier bad habits and make them as God wanted them to be.
There are a lot of people who are extremely intelligent, earn a lot of money, no vices whatsoever, and in the eyes of the world they are an accomplished man, yet looks miserable in the eyes of God? Because they know not God. as it is written "Man do not leave by bread alone but from every words that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"

I can program my VCR.
I have two Master's Degrees, and am All-But-Dissertation on my PhD.
I am not brainwashed.
I am not feeble minded.
I do not lack intellect.
My income is above average, but not rich by any stretch.
But, I do NOT claim to have all of the answers.
I am a Christian. That is the answer for MY life.
What you believe/what you are is up to you. You are free to make your own choices as I have freely made mine.

I find it ironic that they don't read the book they criticise, They call some religions "Cults" and basically go with the masses..
Shameful really.
The worst is, some people may not sense the sarcasm in this question...

Actually, it's quite scriptural. The bible says that God gives wisdom to the simple...but (listen to this).....brings down the proud.
