I’ve only been using Yahoo answers for a couple of days now but one thing I’ve noticed is that in matters of religious debate the Christian point of view is almost always very poorly represented. As an Agnostic in a otherwise Christian family I’ve had my share of religious discussions and I know that the Christian viewpoint can be articulated far better than what I’ve seen in these pages. Sometimes I feel like jumping in on the Pro-Christian side just to be fair. Lets hear from thoughtful Christians. Don’t make me come over there.

You have to have a subject stated or a question asked to make a point against. Plus, I see many questions posed here are are so hard to understand because they are so poorly written. I pick and choose carefully those I want to give full answers to, but then I answer with very short answers sometimes just to get the points from Yahoo!.

If you do your job well, you will become less concerned with how others do theirs. An agnostic may have trouble understanding this.

There is no such thing as a Christian viewpoint, by the way.

There is an accepted correlation between intelligence and belief. The more intelligent, the less likely is a person to believe. So as most believers are less intelligent it's likely they are less able to articulate questions very well.

Why not read some C.S. Lewis, and then go all the way? Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you have to park your brain at the door when you go to Church.

I'll try but what's the question?

On a side note I'm a big Zippy the Pinhead fan unlike probably 99% of my brothers and sisters in Christ. :)

This Q&A is flooded with bogus questions trying to waste people's time. Don't you know that time is valuable? Christians would do better to just work in their communities than spend time here.

I try to be thoughtful when I reply to serious questions, but most of the questions on here aren't serious. I'm not here to convert people, so if someone is obviously asking something out of spite, I usually ignore it.

You have just wasted 3 minutes of my life. I will never get them back. How does that make you feel? You proud of yourself smarty-pants?

The thing is, when we say something that really makes sense...
We always get shot down....Makes you not even want to ask questions...

What makes you think there is such a thing as *the* Christian viewpoint?
