I'm 5'4" needless to say that most of the women I dated were taller. My wife is 5'8". I dated a woman the was your height actually. I never had a problem with women being taller than me. If I did I'd be pretty miserable.
I think the guys may feel insecure by a tall woman. If you're as pretty as you sound then that's probably the problem. Shorter guys are made to feel insecure because of how they feel about what other might think of them being seen with a taller woman. Tall guy may not like a woman they can see eye to eye with.(just kidding with this one)
Ultimately is that those guys aren't comfortable and secure enough with themselves.

It doesn't always take just looks to attract a mate--maybe you could focus on your attitude more to make yourself desirable/interesting? I don't think it's all about the height, although a fraction of men think that shorter equals to a more femine body--but I am sure that other men think tall, model-like women are hot too...it's just a matter of attitude.

I luv tall women and if they wear heels and really tower over me that is hot, but why you aren't getting asked out not sure... I would ask you out if I knew you but I am a bit imitated by you tall girls... it is something like oh my god you are everything in the world I want but there she won't go out with a shorter guy...

tall girls are kinda intimidating actually. You know that type of person that everybody thinks they have tons of boyfriends so they don't bother asking them out, so they end up alone? yeah thats what happens.
