but some one pl tell me how does one go about it? whom should one contact? what proccedure needed?

Eye donation can be registered with any eye bank. I dont know where you write from. I am a chennaite and the eye bank I know here is CU Shah Eye bank attached to Sankara Nethralaya and the toll free number is 1919. Ph: 044-28271616. As far as the multiorgan donation is concerned, I think you can approach Apollo.

Well, I hadn't planned on donating them BEFORE I died, that is for sure. Go to the DMV, tell them you want to be an organ donor, a pink dot will be applied to your license. Tell those who are close to you also. Good luck .. we need organs for those who are less fortunate than we...kidneys, livers, hearts, cornea, etc.

most states let you register when you get your drivers license. at your local city hall they have register cards. All you have to do is fill out the card and mail it in. You can always change your mind. Sign up you can save a life.

1) Advise your doctor of your wishes.
2) Carry donor cards.
3) Mention it in your will.

If you want to donate your eyes, for instance, go to the RP Centre at the AIIMS in New Delhi, they will guide you.
